Vaginal Balls
![Vaginal Balls.](/imgs/uploads/geisha-balls-for-women.jpg)
In Fifty Shades Darker, the second part of the 50 shades trilogy, there was a part where Christain Grey had Anna bend over in the bathroom, and from behind, inserted some silver balls in her. If you have watched this movie, you would remember that she went through intense bouts of pleasure at the party they attended that night till she went to get rid of the balls. Those were vaginal balls.
Sex toys have since evolved from what they used to be, which were imitations of the penis and the vagina. More interesting, and pleasure-creating objects have been discovered for humans who want something other than the traditional intercourse method. The vaginal balls are part of these different sex toys tilting away from what used to be the in-thing.

What are vaginal balls?
Created for exercising the vaginal and pelvic walls, the vaginal balls, also called the Kegel Balls or Ben Wa Balls, are small, weighted marble-like balls that can cause vaginal stimulation. Upon insertion, they roll around in the vagina, causing the walls to expand and contract in reaction to the stimulation caused by the balls. Contrary to what people think, these balls have been in existence for a while, since 500 CE. The initial use of these balls was to tighten the pelvic region after childbirth; as the vagina expands a bit after childbirth, so they were used as vagina tightening balls. They, however, began to fade into obscurity as women began to find other ways to do what it was created for.
As sex toys became popular, these small vaginal stimulators began to find their way back to the hands of women who wanted to be a little more adventurous with pleasure-seeking. Vagina balls are called different things by different people, and that is because of the variety of purposes they are used for. Some call it the vaginal exercise balls, and that is because it causes the vagina to exercise itself. Others call it the vagina strengthening ball because the exercise process causes the vagina muscles to be strengthened. Some of these balls come with the pleasure package; they are called the vibrating vaginal balls, or the vaginal pleasure balls, or the vagina sex balls because they cause intense pleasure.
However, most people just call them the ben wa balls or the kegel balls. This is because the process of contracting and releasing the vaginal muscles in an exercise manner is called kegeling. They are also used as vagina massage balls, as the entire process can massage the vagina muscles.

Types
Vaginal balls differ from each other in materials, shapes, sizes, stimulation zones, and other features.
Materials
Vaginal balls come in different materials, and we will be discussing them.
- Metal Vagina balls: We all saw these in 50 Shades Darker; the balls inserted into Anna were ben wa balls made from stainless steel. They are easy to insert once lubed properly; also, they are a little on the high side, as they are seen as luxurious.
- Glass vagina balls: Glass kegel balls are made from hand-blown glass, so you do not have to worry about them cracking inside you. Because of the fear of breakage, many people do not really like using these kegel balls, but they are actually very safe.
- Plastic vagina balls: The plastic vagina balls are made from non-toxic, phthalate-free plastic. These are the cheapest of all vagina balls but not the most popular because people are not great fans of plastic sex toys.
- Silicone vagina balls: The silicone ben wa balls are non-porous, easy to clean, and a little on the high side because silicone-based sex toys are the toys of choice for most people.
Shapes
The Vagina balls come in numerous shapes; at the beginning, they came in only ball-like shapes, but now, there are egg-shaped vagina balls, mango-shaped, and many others.
Sizes
Vagina balls range from the size of a marble to as much as 2inches in diameter. The size of vagina balls you use is dependent on how new you are to the game. It is advised to start with the smallest ones so that you do not overexert the vaginal walls.
Stimulation zones
The stimulation zones of the vaginal balls are mostly dependent on the kind of balls you purchase, and there are four different kinds.

The Vibrating Vaginal Balls
They are tethered to each other and have a vibrator in each of them, which could be controlled from outside. Some of them come with a remote control that can be used to control the intensity of the vibrations.
- The Duotone ben wa balls: The Duotone ben wa balls are glass balls covered in silicone and tethered to each other. Each ball has small metal balls in them that move around and cause a vibration when inserted.
- The Kegel balls: The kegel balls are weighted vaginal balls used mostly for kegeling, so they are larger and much more rigid than the ben wa balls you already know. These are for more adventurous people and are not at all recommended for beginners.
- The string ben wa balls: Again, this was the kind that was seen in 50 shades, two metal balls connected by a string that could be taken out of the user's choosing.
How to choose the best Vagina balls?
Getting the right vaginal balls can be a hassle, so here are a few tips you can follow when getting them.
- Check out the material: Since the vaginal sex balls are going into you, you should be wary of the kind of material you pick, be sure that the balls are made of safe materials that your body won't react to.
- Check out the size: The size of vaginal balls you pick is dependent on how new you are to the game. The newer you are, the smaller the balls.
- Check out the look in person: Some people would prefer weighted vagina balls, and it is better to see and weigh them in person to be sure you are making the right choice.
- For quality: There are cheap, low quality kegel balls out there being paraded as the real thing. The materials of these low-quality balls can erode inside you and cause an infection or worse. Find ways to ascertain the quality of the vagina balls you are buying.
- Check out the cleaning process: After each use, your ben wa balls have to be cleaned properly. You should check out how easy it is to clean the ben wa balls you are getting. If you cannot clean it properly, there is a chance that your vagina balls will have buildups which can cause infections after your next use.
- Prices: You do not have to break the bank because you are looking for safe pleasure; there are affordable vagina sex balls out there.

What about adding an extra weight?
Your appetite for adventure-based pleasure may increase over time, and you may begin to want more weighted balls. Instead of having to completely buy a new set, check if you can increase the weight of your balls.
How to use?
There are two positions in which you can use the vaginal sex balls.
- If you are doing it alone, lie on your back flat, and insert it till you feel it's in enough, then squeeze your vaginal walls to make your insides familiar with the balls.
- If you are using it with a partner, you should bend over, spread your legs apart and have them inserted into you, then stand up straight and gently squeeze for familiarity.
Safety regulations
Before you use vagina balls, you must understand that there are safety precautions; failure to follow them may cause injuries for you. First, you must always lube your vagina balls before inserting, and before taking them out. Please do not use saliva as a lubricant, that was only applicable in the 50 shades movie, it is not applicable in real life.
If you are a beginner, do not use heavy vagina balls, go for smaller ones and build up to the heavy ones. If your vaginal balls seem uncomfortable for a long period of time, please take them out. Finally, make sure you always clean after every use.
How to clean the vaginal balls
The cleaning process for the vaginal balls is the same for all the materials. First, detach the vaginal balls from their strings if they are stringed, then wash in warm water and mild soap. Finally clean with a disinfected towel or air-dry them.
